Organizing 6-Traits Titles within the Media Center

Here is a favorite link of Library Media Specialist Rosalie White at Palos West Elementary (Palos Park, IL). This site is created by folks in La Vilita Library, Texas and includes picture books sorted by their traits of significance. However, for the Media Specialist, this site goes one step further--it includes call numbers for each of the titles.

Rosalie has worked deliberately to support her elementary teachers targeting the 6 Traits. One of her most helpful resources was to create a specialty book shelf for teachers and students looking for titles based solely on their traits. Check out this photo! What a resource!
