Follow the path to better writing

We know how frustrating it can be to wake up feeling unprepared to teach writing, thinking that the day’s lesson plans aren’t as powerful as you’d like. And that’s after a night spent aimlessly searching the internet for ideas. We’ve all been there!

Overdone assignments, grammar quizzes, and tired prompt topics leave your students feeling unmotivated and you feeling ineffective—far from the rock star teacher you long to be.

That’s why we created the Six Traits of Writing online workshops using footage from two of our most popular live workshops. Each contains effective, timeless, research-based strategies that will finally grow your students’ writing skills. Don’t spend another sleepless night clicking around the internet for tomorrow’s plans.

Simply follow these steps to build better writers:

Learn the Six Traits framework
the Six-Trait Framework
Gain a clear understanding of the Six Traits as a powerful framework for student writing.
Introduce the Six Traits
the traits to your students
Provide students with consistent exposure to the Six Traits throughout the school year.
Build stronger writers with the six traits
stronger student writers
Help your students become stronger, more confident writers.

Still a little hesitant?

Maybe you’ve had one of these common concerns when considering online workshops.

Long online events are boring.
We’ve all experienced way-too-long Zoom meetings, so the thought of two 5-hour online workshops might be making your head spin. But these workshops are guaranteed to keep your attention! They’re highly engaging and bursting with aha! moments.

I just don’t have the time.
Life feels busier than ever now! That’s why each workshop includes one year of access to view the workshop videos. You’ll have the ability to learn at your own pace and re-watch the workshop videos over and over during your access period.

My school already has a writing program.
The Six Traits of Writing is not another “program.” It’s a framework that will increase the effectiveness of your writing instruction and help students of all ages improve their writing. Don’t abandon what’s working in your classroom; use the Six-Traits framework to enhance what you’re already doing well.

I’m not sure if it’s worth the price.
We promise this online workshop will get you excited about teaching writing and improve your students’ writing—or your money back. If you are unhappy in any way, we give you our personal promise of a speedy, hassle-free, no-questions-asked, complete refund.
