Regardless of the curriculum model you’re currently using, this full-day virtual workshop provides you with a powerful framework of lessons that will help launch your writing year. Throughout the workshop, plot and plan your own instructional calendar as you learn about the priorities for teaching writing during the first six weeks of school. Then, by the end of the day, you will be ready to go with a personalized blueprint in hand!

  • Learn classroom-tested routines and procedures to establish the writing environment.
  • Set the tone that writing occurs daily.
  • Receive organizational ideas for writers’ notebooks.
